The Counter Top Water Filter/Purifier, is very easy to install and adapts to virtually any tap. +
STEP ONE : Remove the airator & determine your taps thread type
Almost every tap will have an airator attached to it, the first thing you need to do is unscrew the airator off the tap (See below for an instructional video). If you are unsure if your tap has an airator, simply try to put your finger inside the tap, if you can feel a metal mesh then this means that there is an airator attached. Simply unscrew this airator to reveal whether your tap has -
A. An external Thread
B. An Internal Thread
C. No thread at all
A . An External Thread
If your tap has an external thread, your divertor (connected to the tubing on your countertop system) should screw directly onto your tap (dont forget to take the clear washer off the black lever and place it inside the top of the divertor first).
B . Internal Thread
If your tap has an Internal thread you will need a TA1 (tap adapter 1), which is a male adapter that you will need to screw onto your tap before attaching the divertor.
C . No Thread at all
Some taps will have no thread at all, in this case you will need either a TA2 (tap adapter2) or a TA3 (tap adapter 3) dependant on the size of your tap.

Fitting your filter cartridge
1. Unscrew the lid of the housing.
2. Remove the plastic wrapper and label from the cartridge
3. Ensure that the white washers on the cartridge are sitting evenly
4. Place the new filter inside housing – either way up is OK
5. Ensure that the black ‘O’ ring is properly seated in the groove.
6. Screw lid of the housing back on firmly, not 'over tight', and turn right side up.
7. Turn the System upside down and let the water run through the filter for 2 minutes to flush carbon particles out of the unit. (If there is a lot of air, briefly turning the filter housing upside down, will remove it a lot quicker.)
